Barbara A. Lum (Clerk)Thompson Hine LLPBarbara is an associate in the Product Liability Litigation practice group of Thompson Hine LLP. She focuses her practice on premises liability actions, putative class actions, and major tort litigation involving aviation, automotive, chemicals, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. Barbara earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Dartmouth College and her Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law. During law school, Barbara clerked at the U.S. Attorneys Office, Anti-Terrorism and National Security Unit in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Center for National Security Studies in Washington, D.C. She also served as Articles Editor for the American Journal of Law and Medicine, as Co-President of the Boston University Asian Pacific Law Student Association, and was selected as a drafter for the Boston University Legislative Policy and Drafting Clinic where she focused on health and environmental legislation. Barbara is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Asian American Bar Association of Ohio. She also serves on the Federal Bar Association's Diversity Committee (Northern Ohio Chapter), as well as the Finance and Compliance Committee for the Cleveland Asian Festival.
