Ahmed A. Abonamah (Clerk)Cleveland Metropolitan School DistrictAhmed currently works for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) in the Chief Academic Office. Prior to joining CMSD, Ahmed participated in the Cleveland Executive Fellowship, a year-long leadership development program funded by the Cleveland Foundation. He came to the Cleveland Executive Fellowship after working as a litigation associate for the law firm of Goulston & Storrs, P.C. in Boston, Massachusetts. Ahmed has also worked as a Judicial Extern for Judge Morgenstern-Clarren at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio and as a Content Consultant for Universal Knowledge Solutions in Dubai. Ahmed earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Dayton and his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. In addition, Ahmed also studied Modern Standard Arabic at Georgetown University and Middlebury College. Ahmed has been involved in various volunteer and community activities locally and in Boston, and is a founding member of the Cleveland Coalition, a newly formed civic organization dedicated to engaging important community issues through education, collaboration, and action.
