Russell W. TyeTye & Associates, L.P.A.Russell entered private practice in 2000 when he founded the law firm of Tye & Associates, L.P.A. He focuses his practice in the areas of criminal defense, civil litigation (both plaintiff and defense), civil rights violations, and on small business matters. Prior to entering private practice, Russell worked for four years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office where he handled the criminal prosecution of all types of felonies. Russell graduated summa cum laude from Kentucky State University in 1992 and he is a 1996 graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law. In law school, Russell received numerous accolades, which included being recognized as the Honorable Louis B. Stokes Scholar, the Honorable Judge Charles Fleming Scholar, and the Honorable Judge Lloyd Brown Scholar. As well, Russell was an Articles Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review. Russell has a wide range of trial and litigation experience and his practice involves the representation of both corporate and individual clients in a variety of matters in both state and federal courts.
