David M. Paris

David is the managing partner of Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy, a position that he has held since 2002. David is a renowned trial attorney, specializing in the fields of consumer class actions, medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability, and wrongful death, among others.
Since 2004, David has been designated a member of Ohio Super Lawyers and he has been recognized as one of the top 100 Ohio Super Lawyers since 2007. David is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to trial attorneys that have obtained million or multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. In addition, he is a Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, widely regarded as the most exclusive trial lawyers group in the world. As well, David has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Personal Injury Litigation.
David is very active in the Cleveland legal community. Among other things, he is a life member of the Eighth District Judicial Conference and he has been an Instructor for the Trial Advocacy Institute held at Cleveland Marshall College of Law since 1990.

About the Task Force
In the fall of 2009, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) President Mike Ungar tapped Common Pleas Judge Tim McMonagle and Thompson Hine Attorney Jim Robenalt to form and head a task force that would study the strengths and weaknesses of the system through which Ohioans elect their judges, and then recommend improvements.
