TFOJE joins The Civic Commons conversation
I want to let you know that the Task Force on Judicial Excellence has just begun to work with our friends at The Civic Commons to allow for the conversation to continue online. You can find the bulk of the transcript of the December 1st event at http://theciviccommons.com/conversations/73. We invite you to join the conversation there. While the conversation on December 1st was robust and thought-provoking, there wasn't nearly enough time to get to everyone. This provides yet another opportunity to provide input.
TFOJE on the radio
On Dec. 1, 2010, Co-chairs Jim Robenalt and Judge Tim McMonagle, along side CMBA President Mike Ungar, were interviewed on WCPN's "The Sound of Ideas" topic on "Who Judges the Judges?"
Task Force's Initial Efforts
The Task Force’s initial efforts will be directed at gathering information and ideas. Monthly public forums will explore current electoral practices and procedures and elicit suggestions on how we can improve on them.
TFOJE to Host Six Topic-Specific Public Forums
The Task Force on Judicial Excellence plans to host six, topic-specific public forums at different locations in Cuyahoga County to elicit ideas and stimulate discussion on ways to improve the manner in which Ohioans elect their judges.
